If at first you don't
succeed, try, and try again.
After the disappointing
Fantastic Four, Michael B. Jordan has joined another superhero franchise. This
time the actor has signed on to star opposite Chadwick Boseman in Marvel's
highly anticipated Black Panther.
For Jordan, Marvel's
Black Panther will be the third time he and writer/director Ryan Coogler work
together following the lauded Fruitvale Station in 2013 and last year's Rocky
spinoff Creed.
There are currently
no details on who Jordon could be playing but rumors say it is possible the
actor is up for a villain role.
Black Panther, a.k.a. T'Challa is the warrior king of
Marvel's fictional African nation of Wakanda, a country rich in vibranium, the
same unbreakable material Captain America's shield is made of.
The character just made its debut in the Marvel's
Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War to much praise from critics
and fans alike.
Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o is in
negotiations to join the property.
Black Panther opens in theaters on
February 2, 2018.
