Next year just about every Marvel superhero will cross
paths in Captain America: Civil War except for Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris
Hemsworth), whom according to JoBlo, will team-up for the god of thunder third
standalone movie, Ragnarok.
According to the trade, Ruffalo wil co-star in the
movie, which according to them will take place in a distant planet that neither
is Asgard or Earth, and they think that this could be a way for Marvel to
introduce some elements of the much rumored Planet Hulk storyline without
having to give the big guy a movie of his own.
We have to wait for confirmation of course, but with
everyone or nearly everyone appearing in Civil War, including the debuts of
Black Panther and Spider-Man, it makes sense that Marvel wouldn't want to leave
the Hulk hanging in some vacuum only to quickly resurface in Avengers: Infinity
War.
Thor: Ragnarok opens on November 3, 2017.
