Disney and Lucasfilm have
released the full trailer for J.J. Abrams Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it
offers mostly new and exciting footage mainly featuring Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac),
and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).
No official synopsis has been
released so whatever tidbits of information you have managed to put together
thus far with all the teasers plus this new trailer will have to do it for now.
The trailer itself doesn't
give too much away in terms of plot, but a few things are apparently made
clear. One that the events of Return of the Jedi didn't reached all the corners
of the galaxy in the same way, as the Jedi and Sith are still considered myths
and folklore, and that Lucasfilm and Abrams are extremely keen in keeping Luke
a "secret" since he is once again absent.
Opening on December 18, Star Wars: The Force Awakens also stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Domnhall Gleason, Gwendoline Christie, Max von Sydow, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Crystal Clarke, and Pip Andersen.
