Back in February,
Marvel announced the casting of Matrix franchise star Carrie-Anne Moss as an
unknown character in Netflix's Jessica Jones, but yesterday at New Work Comic
Con the unknown became known and Marvel finally revealed who the actress is
playing in the series.

Jeph Loeb announced that Moss is playing Jeryn Hogarth in the series. The
character should ring some bells to Marvel Comics fans as he or in this case she,
is a close ally of Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist. In the comics Hogarth was a
lawyer that worked for Wendell Rand, Danny's father, who after passing away
left the care of his son and estate to Hogarth. In the course of the comics Hogarth
provided legal and business advice to Danny and Luke Cage when they teamed-up to
form Heroes for Hire.
Between the
introduction of Madam Gao (Wai Ching Ho) and the Steel Serpent in Daredevil,
Misty Knight (Simone Missick) in the upcoming Luke Cage, and now Jeryn Hogarth
(Carrie-Anne Moss') in Jessica Jones, Marvel is heavily teasing Iron Fist, I
wonder if he will be the catalyst to something more, other than The Defenders.
