While at the Television Critics Association, Fox TV Group Chairman Gary Newman revealed that they have been thinking about perhaps reviving fan favorite, The X-Files.
"We've had some conversations on X-Files and we're
hopeful that we'll bring that back," said Newman. On the other hand CEO Dana Walden revealed that there
is a "timing issue", but they have reached out to the series creator
Chris Carter and both stars, Gillian Anderson, and David Duchovny. No further
details were given, but both Newman or Walden revealed that it's still too
early to announce anything officially.
Recently Fox found success when they revived 24, so
it's understandable that they would go to the vault to see if there is anything
else they can revive.
Would you like to see another X-Files
with Anderson, and Duchovny?
