Kenneth Choi has
joined the cast of director Jon Watts' upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. The
actor, who recently played Judge Lance Ito on FX's acclaimed drama miniseries
The People vs. O.J. Simpson, will play the principal at the school Peter Parker
(Tom Holland) attends.
Spider-Man:
Homecoming won't be Choi's first role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The
actor played Jim Morita, a member of the Howling Commando's, in both Captain America:
The First Avenger, and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.
Opening in theaters
on July 17, 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Robert Downey Jr., Marisa
Tomei, Michael Keaton, Tony Revolori, Zendaya, Laura Harrier, and Michael
Barbieri.
Choi's credits also
include Sons of Anarchy, The Wolf of Wall Street, and The Terminal.
