With cast and crew ready to start shooting Marvel's
Doctor Strange in London soon, there are a few things that we still don't know outside
of the actual story, like what role Rachel McAdams will play in Marvel's first foray into
the World of magic.
So far what we know is
that Benedict Cumberbatch is playing the titular doctor, Tilda Swinton is playing
his mentor The Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor is playing fellow mystic Baron
Mordo, but McAdams' role remains a mystery, until maybe now.

When Netflix's
Daredevil came about everyone thought that Rosario Dawson's character would end
up being Linda Carter, the first Night Nurse, but that wasn't the case. Following
the debut of the series, showrunner Stephen S. DeKnight revealed that though
they initially wanted Dawson to play a Night Nurse, Marvel Studios said no to
the idea, because they had plans to use a Night Nurse in their cinematic
universe, which isn't conclusive but could support the report that McAdams' is
playing one.
Why the studio
decided to go with the lesser-known character instead of Carter, who has a much
bigger history in the comics is unknown.
Doctor Strange opens
on November 4, 2016.
