The upcoming Michael Bay Trilogy of the popular
franchise, Transformers has a new villain. Michael Bay the director of the
upcoming Transformers 4 has chosen Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier and X-Men:
Last Stand) to be the main villain. Grammer is not going to land the voice to
some robotic baddy, he is going to play the part. Not much is yet known about
the character and the movie, but what is known is that he is going to play
Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence operative.
This
is what the Michigan Film Office unveiled in a press released about the movie.
"As
humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers:
Dark Of The Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face
of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and
scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries
of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful
Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle
between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues."
In an interview Bay, the director of
Transformers 4 had this to say:
“We’ve
redesigned them in Transformers 4, and
there’s some really cool shit in it. I’m literally redesigning every character,
top to bottom. There’s a reason why they’re redesigned, but it’s also to keep
it new and fresh to me. I think the fans will appreciate some of this new stuff
we have in the movie and some of the new characters.”
