Cast Of Star Trek: Discovery Grows With Three New Additions

Actors Terry Serpico ("Rescue Me, Sneaky Pete"), Maulik Pancholy ("30 Rock"), and Sam Vertholomeos ("The Following") have boarded CBS's upcoming sci-fi drama Star Trek: Discovery.

The trio will join Sonequa Martin-Green, James Frain, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Michelle Yeoh, Chris Obi, Mary Chieffo, and Shazad Latif.

Vertholomeos will play Ensign Connor, a Junior Officer in Starfleet Academy assigned to the Starship Shenzhou, while Serpico will play Admiral Anderson, a high-ranking Starfleet officer, and Pancholy will play Dr. Nambue, the Chief Medical Officer aboard the Starship Shenzhou.

Set roughly a decade before the events of the first Star Trek series, Discovery will stay close to the themes and ideology of the original series while featuring new characters, new missions, and a brand new ship.

Discovery will premiere on CBS, with following episodes available to stream on CBS All Access in the US, and Netflix everywhere else.
