If you are a fan of
the Expendables franchise than you're in luck as it will be moving to TV.
According to Deadline Fox is starting to develop an Expendables tv series with
Sylvester Stallone executive producing. This time around the goal is to reunite
iconic TV stars to just like in the films, defeat a common threat. Greg
Coolidge (Ride Along), and Kirk Ward are the men in charge of writing the
pilot, while NCIS: LA executive producer Shane Brennan is set to act the
showrunner.
The project is still
in its early stages so no casting just yet, but names like David Hasselhoff (Baywatch),
Kiefer Sutherland (24), Lucy Lawless (Xena), Mark Valley (Human Target), Shane
West (Nikita), or Michael Vartan (Alias) jump to mind as potential candidates to
star in the "fun
action drama that unites iconic TV stars as a new team of highly-skilled heroes
who are on a mission to stop a dangerous terrorist."
