With
no Iron Man 4 in the pipeline, the next big adventure for Tony Stark, aka Iron
Man will be in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers 2, and with news that Magneto’s
children will be entering in that project, the speculation is going wild. So
Marvel’s Big Boss, Kevin Feigein an interview with Entertainment Weekly talks
about the two brothers, what will happen to Iron Man between this movie and The
Avengers 2 and more.
Apparently
there are some scenes in Iron Man 3, in which director Shane Black roughs up
the main character (Iron Man) and after one these scenes, actor Robert Downey
Jr asked Feige:
What
does this mean if we wind up doing an Avengers 2? Kevin looked at me and said, ‘That’s Joss’
problem to solve.’ I was like, ‘Good man.’”
With
Iron Man not coming back until The Avengers 2, what will happen to him in this
movie?
“I
thought we needed to do something in the third movie to make it feel like a
game-changer.”
How
about Pepper Potts, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, using Iron Man’s armor?
“It’s
sort of the comic-book version of a Cinderella story,” Paltrow says of her
character’s four-film arc. “She starts timid and sort of cleaning up after
Tony, and then she evolves into full strength and a superhero.”
Now
for the big question. Can we expect Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the upcoming
The Avengers 2?
“I’m
not confirming or denying. The draft could change six months from now.”
