Prison Break star
Robert Knepper has joined the upcoming revival of David Lynch and Mark Frost's cult
TV series Twin Peaks on Showtime, and though there are no details regarding his
character, Deadline believes he will have a recurring role.
The lack of
information on Knepper's character is somewhat symbolic of the whole production
in that we do not know a lot about it. So far, the only things we do know is
that Lynch will direct the entire series, that Kyle MacLachlan will reprise his role as
Dale Cooper, and that Amanda Seyfried has a recurring role. Deadline also
believes that David Patrick Kelly will be returning to play Jerry Home, and
according to some rumors, Richard Beymer is also returning to play Jerry's
brother Benjamin.
Besides Prison Break
where he played Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, Knepper is also known for
his roles on Hitman, Transporter 3, Good Night, and Good Luck, Wild Thing, The
Hunger Games franchise, Public Morals, and Arrow.
