While details
are being kept concealed, French actor Saïd Taghmaoui recently let it slip
what kind of role he will play in Patty Jenkins' upcoming Wonder Woman movie.
"I'll
be playing a superhero," the actor revealed during an interview to Ultra,
a French magazine."But details are still under wraps, so I can't tell you
much." The quote is a translation from the article, so there is a chance
that he might have said a good guy and not a superhero, so if know French and
think what he said (below) doesn't correspond with the translation let us know.
The
actor also talked about the casting process and revealed that the filming schedule
will keep him busy for about six months in various countries.
"I
was among hundreds of potential candidates, and I slowly became the favorite," he
said. "It wasn't
easy. It took me three months. [I'll have to go through] extensive physical
training. Shooting was slated to begin in November, and will take about 6
months, in 4 different countries."
Opening
on June 23, 2017, Wonder Woman also stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.
