Either Ridley Scott
is a master teaser, or his ideas for the Prometheus franchise are all over the
place. Just yesterday, while promoting The Martian, the filmmaker revealed that
the connection between the Alien and Prometheus would only come in the fourth
installment of the most recent franchise, but now while speaking to HeyUGuys,
Scott announces that the official title for the upcoming film is Alien:
Paradise Lost.
Written by John
Milton, Paradise Lost is a poem of epic scale, conjuring up a vast, awe-inspiring cosmos and
ranging across huge tracts of space and time. And yet, in putting a charismatic
Satan and naked Adam and Eve at the centre of this story, he also created an
intensely human tragedy on the Fall of Man. (source - goodreads)
Alien: Paradise Lost
picks up where the last movie left off, with Noomi Rapace and Michael
Fassbender's head going to the Engineers homeworld. Scott has also teased
that he will use the franchise to explore the reasoning behind the creation of the aliens.
