Nicolas Roeg's 1973 classic horror film Don't Look Now is getting the
remake treatment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, StudioCanal, and The
Picture Company's Alex Heineman, and Andrew Rona are currently searching for a
studio to bank the project, which so far doesn't have neither a director, nor a
writer attached to it.
Based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier (Rebecca, Jamaica Inn, The
Birds), Don't Look Now starred Donald Sutherland, and Julie Christie as a
married couple that go on a trip to Venice after the death of their daughter.
While there the couple meets two elderly sisters, one of which claims to be a clairvoyant
bringing them warnings from the after-life. After the strange encounter, the
couple starts to suffer a series of terrifying and supernatural events.
