Before
you go jumping out of joy or smashing your keyboard out of rage, it is just a
rumor. According to LR, who also stresses that other actors and actresses have
gone to read for the roles, actress Rachel Hurd-Wood and actor Alex Pettyfer are
on their way to became the daughter of Leia and Han and “Skywalker’s son now
that [Ryan] Gosling has declined,”.
Knowing
that other people are still coming in to read for these roles is what makes
this a rumor and not fact.
Personally,
I don’t think both actors have the chops to pull this off, but J.J. Abrams always
manages to get good performances out of almost every actor in his movies and
series, so…
LR
also says that official announcements will start to appear around October, but
that there might be some official casting news announced today, so… will be here
just in case.
