Sony Pictures has released a new video log from Sam Mendes' highly
anticipated, Spectre. This time the behind-the-scene video takes us to the film's
opening chase sequence set in Mexico City during the iconic Day of the Dead
festival, where thousands of people gather to pray and remember those that have
died.
"I wanted the
audience to be dropped right into the middle of a very, very specific, very
heady, rich environment. It’s the Day of the Dead, everywhere you look there’s
colour and detail and life. We’ve built floats and maquettes, the costumes are
extraordinary and the craftsmanship is amazing," says Mendes, who utilized
fifteen-hundred extras to achieve said rich environment.
In Spectre James Bond's (Daniel Craig) past sends him on a hunt to
uncover the truth behind a sinister organization only known as Spectre (Special
Executive for Counter-intelligence Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion).
Opening on November 6, Spectre also stars Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris,
Ralph Fiennes, Ben Wishaw, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Andrew Scott, Dave
Bautista, and Stephanie Sigman.
A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a
