Not unlike John Wesley Shipp in The CW's The Flash,
CBS has added former Supergirl, Helen Slater and Superman, Dean Cain to the
cast of the upcoming Supergirl pilot. This isn't the first time both actors
returned to the DC universe after playing their iconic characters. In
Smallville Slater played Clark's biological mother Lara, as for Cain he played
Dr. Curtis Knox. We still don't know who they will be playing this time around.
Besides Cain and Slater, Supergirl also stars Melissa
Benoist as Kara Danvers, aka Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Calista
Flockart as Cat Grant, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers,
and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw.
