Toby Jones ("Captain
America") and Rafe Spall ("Prometheus") are in negotiations to
join returning cast members Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in J.A.
Bayona's ("A Monster Calls") Jurassic World sequel.
Details are being
kept under wraps, but per Variety, producers were keen to have these two offers
out of the way before testing for two other major roles.
Frank Marshall is
producing the yet untitled Jurassic World sequel along with Pat Crowley and
Belén Atienza. Collin Trevorrow, who both directed and co-wrote Jurassic World,
penned with his writing partner Derek Connolly the script for the sequel. Trevorrow
will also executive producer the project alongside Steven Spielberg.
Jones will next be
seen starring in BBC 1's Sherlock opposite Martin Freeman and Benedict
Cumberbatch, while Spall can currently be seen on the third season of Netflix's
Black Mirror.
