Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new Ghostbusters
image featuring Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones
barging into a rock concert to take down a winged demon. Will the audience
think it is all part of the show? They seem to like it.
Directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Spy), Ghostbusters
will throw the four protagonists into a supernatural battle where they will have
to deal with pilgrims, old-timey sailors, monsters, Revolutionary
War spirits, a couple of zoot-suited gangsters, and more.
Opening in theaters on July 15, Ghostbusters also stars Chris
Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Charles Dance, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Matt Walsh, and Cecily Strong.
Thirty years after the original film took the world by
storm, Ghostbusters is back and fully rebooted for a new generation.
Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the
original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the
funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world
this summer!
