Marvel Studios has
released the first trailer and poster for the highly anticipated sequel,

up the threads left dangling following the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In the film Cap's (Chris Evans) new Avengers initiative comes under fire from
Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) and the government after yet another international
incident involving the super powered team results in collateral damages.
However, despite being fractured, the Avengers still have work.
Opening on May 6,
2016, Captain America: Civil War also stars Chadwick Boseman, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian
Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don
Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank
Grillo, William Hurt, Daniel Brühl, and Tom Holland.
“Captain America:
Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers
leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard
humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results
in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of
accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of
the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect
the world from a new and nefarious villain.
