It seems like award-winning
actress Jennifer Lawrence has decided to pull out of a couple of project just
so she has time in her schedule to work with Black Swan and Noah director,
Darren Aranofsky in his next project.
Lawrence recently
dropped off Destin Daniel Cretton's (Short Term 12) adaptation of Jeannette
Walls' memoire The Glass Castle, though she remains attached as a producer, and
news now arrives that she also exited Richard Linklater's adaptation of Graeme
Simsion's novel The Rosie Project.
According to Variety,
the actress is in talks to join Aranofsky's yet unknown project, which he hopes
will be his next film after dropping out of the Evel Knievel biopic starring
Channing Tatum. The filmmaker was also working on a script "about a boy
living in Staten Island whose drawings come to life," but budget concerns killed
the project before it moved any further.
This year, Lawrence
will be seen wrapping up one of her franchises with The Hunger Games:
Mockingjay - Part 2, followed by Joy, her reunion with director David O.
Russell with whom she has worked with on Silver Linings Playbook, and American
Hustle.
The actress is
currently filming a sci-fi drama titled Passengers with Chris Pratt, and is working on a script with Amy Schumer.
