A regular on Paul Feig's Yahoo series Other Space,
Eugene Cordero has booked a trip to join Tom Hiddleston in Jordan Vogt-Roberts
upcoming Kong: Skull Island, though no
details regarding his character were provided.
Skull Island is said to
follow "a man (Hiddleston) who travels to the mythical island after his
brother is stranded there trying to retrieve the mythical serum Titan, which is
believed to be the cure for all illnesses and diseases. The man must lead a
rescue team to save his brother while confronting the creatures that inhabit
the island."
Cordero, whose credits
also include appearances on Parks and Recreation, Comedy Bang! Bang!, the Kroll
Show, and Key And Peele, shot over the summer roles in Ghostbusters
and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.
Scheduled to hit
theaters on March 10, 2017, Kong: Skull Island also stars Brie Larson, Samuel L.
Jackson, John C. Riley, Corey Hawkins, John Goodman, Shea
Whigham, and John Ortiz.
