Universal Pictures
and Legendary Pictures have released the first trailer for Danny Boyle's upcoming
biopic about Steve Jobs from a script by Aaron Sorkin and based on a book by Walter
Isaacson.
The film takes an unconventional
approach to the genre, which is usually very standard in the way it is
structured. In Steve Jobs we are presented with three scenes, each unveiling on
of Jobs "creations".
Opening on October 9, Steve Jobs stars Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs),
Seth Rogen (Steve Wozniak), Kate Winslet (Joana Hoffman), Jeff Daniels (John
Sculley), Michael Stuhlbarg (Andy Hertzfeld), Katherine Waterson (Chrisann
Brennan), and John Ortiz (Joel Pforzheimer).
Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the
unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital
revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
