Johnny Depp looks calmly
menacing as James Joseph "Whitey" Bulger Jr., the former crime boss,
and FBI informant, in writer/director Scoot Cooper's (Crazy Heart, Out of the
Furnace) biopic, Black Mass.
The complex and fascinating story of how he both gave and received
information from the FBI, which allow him to control Boston for decades until
becoming a fugitive and ending up has the second most wanted man by the FBI just
below Osama Bin Laden will hit theaters on September 18.
In addition to Depp, Black Mass also star Dakota Johnson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Juno Temple, Corey
Stoll, Kevin Bacon, Adam Scott, Jesse
Plemons, Peter Sarsgaard, and Julianne Nicholson.
