So far the Divergent star
hasn't had the best luck when it comes to playing a role in a superhero movie.
She was cast as MJ and even filmed some scenes in Marc Webb's The Amazing
Spider-Man 2, but for some reason was cut of the film. Now speaking to MTV UK
the actress expresses her wishes to star in a Marvel film.
"I would love to be in a
superhero movie if it was Marvel. Their movies are so much fun to watch. They
take you on a ride. I love how they’re all interconnected. I respond to
independent films when I watch movies, because I love to feel affected on a
very human, stripped level, but there’s something about going to those big
blockbuster films where you watch people fly across the sky and have long
stretchy arms and supernatural powers… it’s a form of escapism. It’s like
reading a very fictional book. I enjoy it."
Marvel recently announced
their film slate until 2019 so there isn't any shortage of projects for the
actress to star in. What do you think? Would you want to see Woodley in a
