Following the success of the first two seasons, Arrow
executive producer Andrew Kreisberg discusses the upcoming third season, which
already got picked up by The CW.
In an interview with TV Fanatic Kreisberg said that
the new season will start with Oliver "in very different circumstances"
in addition to the Queen's financial problems, which will play "out in the
last five episodes (of this season)".
Kreisberg adds that:
"[Oliver]
being in different circumstances [in season three] changes the circumstances of
his paid bodyguard [Diggle] and his paid assistant [Felicity] since he can no
longer pay them."
The executive producer went on to say that, the third
season will have a different feel to it, and compared it to Buffy and Angel,
where the change in tone was clearly visible.
