Director,
writer and all around nerd culture icon, revealed today via Twitter that he is
currently in pre-production on Tusk, which will begin production in September.
According to Smith, Tusk is “a little sister to Red State, but with no
politics, no religion whatsoever, but it’s just as unsettling,” and that it’s
like a “cuddly version of The Human Centipede.”
According
to reports, Tusk is based on a true story of a man stranded at sea with only a
walrus for company. After returning home, the man advertises for a roommate
with the condition that whoever responded to the ad would have to wear a walrus
costume every day for two hours.
Well
certainly seems odd, not sure about horror but strange indeed.
