There Can Be Only One And It Isn’t Ryan Reynolds

The Highlander reboot is having some difficulties getting off the ground. First was the director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo that exited the project last year citing creative differences has the cause for his departure of the project, now is actor Ryan Reynolds that departs from the project, leaving it without director and main actor.

Ryan was going to play “Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman forced to confront the Kurgan, a brutal barbarian who lusts for the fabled ‘Prize.’”.

Producer’s Neal Moritz and Peter Davis now need to find a new director and star to replace the ones they lost and get the project of the ground.
