News Flash - Iron Man 3, Independence Day, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and more

For all the fans of Iron Man 3 and Facebook, great news!, the official Iron Man 3 Facebook Page has revealed images of the Mark 17 Artillery Level RT Suit aka "heartbreaker" and of the Mark 38 Heavy Lifting Suit aka "Igor".

It's official, Michael Bay has announced to the world, through his Twitter, that actress Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender and Bates Motel) had been cast in the upcoming Transformers 4, but when asked if Meagan Fox would return to her character the director replied "No. Female lead has been cast... Nicola Peltz.". She will be joining Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor.

Yet another picture from the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, sent by director Marc Webb through his twitter account and simply titled "The Armory".

Independence Day is back. Director Roland Emmerich talked to Entertainment Weekly about the two part sequel, which he is still developing of Independece Day which are titled ID Forever, Part I and ID Forever, Part II. The story for this two part sequel will take place 20 years after the first movie. ”The humans knew that one day the aliens would come back,” said Emmerich, ”And they know that the only way you can really travel in space is through wormholes. So for the aliens, it could take two or three weeks, but for us that’s 20 or 25 years… “It’s a changed world. It’s like parallel history. [Humans] have harnessed all this alien technology. We don’t know how to duplicate it because it’s organically-grown technology, but we know how to take an antigravity device and put it in a human airplane.”. Roland Emmerich says that actor Bill Pullman will be returning as President Whitmore, but Will Smith has not signed to play his character Captain Steven Miller. The two movies will instead be focused on the stepson of the Captain, Dylan, that for those of you that remember was that little kid on the first movie.

Another movie to be devided in multiple parts will be the adaptation of writter Jeff VanderMeer's upcoming triology "Southern Reach", beginning with the not yet published Annihilation. According to the writer website, the series takes place in Area X, which has been closed and declared restricted by the Government of United States of America. Riddled in secrets, eleven expeditions have ventured in Area X and never returned, will a new one succeed where the others failed?
