Now with the first movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey finished and already on sales, Peter Jackson the director and producer, is now showing us through this clip an exclusive footage from the upcoming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, that is set to come out December of this year.
This clip that starts at 1:10 minutes shows Gandalf the Grey played by the great Sir Ian McKellen and Radagast the Brown played by Sylvester McCoy exploring a tomb, in this first clip from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

In the explanation preceding the actual preview clip, Peter Jackson explains that this part is not actually on the novel, The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien but a continuation of the events preceded in the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. This clip is then linked to two parts of the movie, one is when Radagast the Brown fends of a shade of the Witch-King of Angmar at Dol Gudur and retrieves the Morgul Blade, and the second part is when Lady Galadriel, Lord Elrond, Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White are discussing what to do, and Gandalf pulls of the Morgul Blade hoping it would help convince Saruman. In the same scene Lady Galadriel explains that the blade was supose to be burried with the Witch-King in his tomb in a mountain and sealed off with magic.
