Angela Bassett is
joining the forthcoming sixth entry in the Mission: Impossible cinematic
franchise.
The actress joins Tom
Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, and Alec Baldwin.
Mission: Impossible -
Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie is returning for the sixth installment,
which is set to open in theaters on July 27, 2018.
Bassett will next be
seen in Ryan Coogler's ("Creed") Marvel movie Black Panther, which
opens in theaters February 16, 2018.
