Ian Kenny has landed
a role in Disney's upcoming Star Wars spinoff film about a young Han Solo.
Currently in
production in the United Kingdom, the untitled project stars Alden Ehrenreich
as Han Solo, and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.
Kenny also joins Emilia
Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Michael K. Williams, and Phoebe
Waller-Bridge.
Chris Miller and Phil
Lord are directing from a screenplay written by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan.
According to Disney
CEO Bob Iger, the film will show Han meeting Chewie (Joonas Suotamo) for the
very first time, as well as winning his iconic spaceship the Millennium Falcon
from Lando.
The untitled Han Solo
spinoff lands in theaters on May 25, 2018.
