The world premiere of
Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was held last night in Los
Angeles, and stars, press, and fans took to Twitter right after to share their
thoughts on the first ever Star Wars spinoff to hit the big screen.

The last time I loved a Star Wars movie as much as I loved #RogueOne, it was 1977.— Wil Wheaton (@wilw) 11 de dezembro de 2016

Takes a bit to get going but #RogueOne turns out to be a kick-ass action pic. And it nails the ending.— Matthew Belloni (@THRMattBelloni) 11 de dezembro de 2016

Perfect Felicity Jones an action heroine I would follow into space battle any day, in a film full of great hero turns #rogueone— jen yamato (@jenyamato) 11 de dezembro de 2016
People worried about #RogueOne not being a gritty war film need not worry. It's intense, relentless. You can practically taste the grit.— Anthony Breznican (@Breznican) 11 de dezembro de 2016
I had high hopes. It exceeded them.— Anthony Breznican (@Breznican) 11 de dezembro de 2016
As with The Force Awakens, a fair number of shots from the #RogueOne trailers aren't in the movie. But the trailers did capture the tone.— Anthony Breznican (@Breznican) 11 de dezembro de 2016
Chirrut Imwe and K-2SO steal the movie. Amazing work by Donnie Yen and Alan Tudyk.— Anthony Breznican (@Breznican) 11 de dezembro de 2016
Holy crap did I love Rogue One. It’s gonna take days to wipe the smile off my face. So many surprises and so much fun. Get excited.— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) 11 de dezembro de 2016
Star Wars fans will be very happy with #RogueOne. It's fun, action packed, doesn't feel neutered by reshoots. Donnie Yen and K2so standouts.— Peter Sciretta (@slashfilm) 11 de dezembro de 2016
ROGUE ONE: The plotting and objectives are needlessly murky, but the look of this thing is *ravishing*. Drop the "why" and embrace the "wow"— Kyle Buchanan (@kylebuchanan) 11 de dezembro de 2016
ROGUE ONE's real secret weapon is d.p. Greig Fraser, whose underlit, dreamy frames rep a brave stylistic break from today's blockbuster look— Kyle Buchanan (@kylebuchanan) 11 de dezembro de 2016
Set in a time of conflict, the story follows an unlikely group of heroes
whom band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the
Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars
timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things,
and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Opening in theaters on
December 16, Rogue One stars Diego Luna, Felicity
Jones, Alan Tudyk, Mads
Mikkelsen, Donnie Yen, James Earl Jones, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Riz
Ahmed, Jimmy Smits, Warwick Davis, Ben Mendelsohn, Jonathan Aris, Alistair
Petrie, Guy Henry, and Genevieve O'Reilly.
