It looks like Steppenwolf will not be the only villain in Zack Snyder's Justice
League, as today Ben Affleck shared via his Twitter account an enticing
behind-the-scenes video of none other than DC Comics icon Deathstroke.

Genetically boosted
to surpass most human limits, Slade Joseph Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke is an
assassin created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez for the December 1980 issue
of The New Teen Titans comic. Throughout the years, Deathstroke fought various
superheroes including Batman, the Flash, Green Arrow, and Green Lantern, and has
join forces with such supervillain teams as Injustice League, Checkmate, League
of Assassins, Secret Society of Super Villains, and Suicide Squad.
Despite his status as
one of the great comic book villains of all time, I'm not seeing Deathstroke having that big of a role in the film since: A) Steppenwolf has already been confirmed as the main antagonist and B) he doesn't
necessarily demand the full League's attention. However, I am seeing him being
introduced here to later appear in either the Batman standalone movie or the
Suicide Squad sequel.
