Aaron
Stone and Chasing Life actress Italia Ricci has joined CBS' Supergirl as
Siobhan Smythe, one of Cat Grant's hires who becomes Kara's work rival and
Supergirl's deadly foe known as Silver Banshee.
"We are so
excited to be working with Italia," said executive producer Andrew
Kreisberg. "We've been a fan of her work for years and we cannot wait to
see her take on this iconic comic book role."
Ricci has second hand
knowledge of the work that goes into doing a superhero show. The actress has
been in a relationship with Robbie Amell (Firestorm) for nearly a decade,
during which she has been supportive of both his and his cousin (Stephen Amell)
shows on The CW.
