If the cliffhanger finale of The Flash's first season
came out of nowhere and surprised to fans, then the second season premiere will blow
their minds so hard they will lose track of time.

In a recent interview, The Flash's star Grant Gustin
revealed that the second season of show picks up a few months after the black
hole incident and not right after as we all assumed.
"We pick up about six months later, and we’re
going to piece together how the storm has affected everyone," Gustin said
before adding that the post-black hole world they live in is "not as different as you’d
think, but as we move forward, some things will blow fans’ minds."
The Flash returns on October 6.
