It seems that Marvel
is looking at Fallon Grey, the sixteen-year-old daughter of Eric Brooks, better
known as Blade, as another potential candidate for a new live-action movie. According
to Bleeding Cool, Marvel delayed the release of the new Blade comic series
because apparently the higher-ups realized the importance of the daywalker's
daughter for the MCU.
Personally, I'm not
seeing Kevin Feige retrofitting their already packed slate to accommodate a MCU
movie centered on Blade's daughter, which then leaves two options. Either have
a TV show starring the character, or introduce her in the MCU as a supporting
character, and even then the character would probably stick out like a sore
thumb.
Wesley Snipes
recently revealed that he and Marvel have spoken about bringing either Blade
back, or teaming up for another project.
