The Weinstein Company has released a TV spot for Antoine Fuqua's Southpaw,
which stars Jake Gyllenhaal as former Junior Middleweight Boxing Champion of
the World, Billy “The Great” Hope, who after the death of someone he loves, sees
everything he holds dear get taken from him. Now, with nothing left to lose and
everything to gain, Billy must once become a contender and win back those he
loves.
Scheduled to premiere on July 24th, Southpaw also stars Forest Whitaker,
Rachel McAdams, Oona Laurence, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Rita Ora, Naomie
Harris, Victor Ortiz, and Clare Foley.
