20th Century Fox has release a new clip for Gil Kenan's (Monster House and
City of Ember) Poltergeist where Dr. Claire Powell (Jane Adams) explains to the
Bowen family the difference between a ghost and a poltergeist.
The remake/reboot of Tobe Hooper's classic 1982 horror film stars Sam Rockwell
and Rosemary DeWitt as desperate parents trying to rescue their daughter
(Kennedi Clements) from the evil spiritual entities that took her.
Produced by Sam Raimi, Poltergeist opens on May 22nd, and also stars Jared
Harris, Saxon Sharbino, and Kyle Catlett.
Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi (“Spiderman,” “Evil Dead”, “The Grudge”) and
director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”) contemporize the classic tale about a
family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying
apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the
family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.
