The 75-issue series tells the story of Texas Reverend Jesse Custer, who after merging with the
offspring of a demon and an angel, teams up with his ex-girlfriend Tulip O’Hare
and an Irish vampire called Cassidy to find God and make him explain why he abandoned
creation.
Along the way, they meet a cowboy who can kill anything named Saint of
Killers, and a suicidal teen called Arseface, among others.
