Last week executive producer Andrew Kreisberg
confirmed that fifteenth episode of The Flash would be exploring the concept of
time traveling, and that it would be "played both for hilarity and
darkness".
Now speaking
to The Hollywood Reporter, star Grant Gustin adds that they will be "diving deep into the
time-travel element and it is going to be wild," he teased while
adding that he believes "it would be fun if [time-travel] totally changed
the show for season two."
Is this the beginnings of Flashpoint
or something similar? In Flashpoint Barry travels back in time to stop
Reverse-Flash from killing his mother, but in doing so he ends up changing
history. He doesn't become Flash, Justice League is never formed, Superman is
nowhere to be seen, Bruce Wayne is dead, and his father is the one wearing the cape, meaning it drastically alters DC's reality. Also if
Flashpoint does happen wouldn't that also influence Arrow since both shows are set in the same universe?
What do you think?
