A few days ago a big surprise from the Star Trek 3 camp hit the news. Simon
Pegg, who plays Scotty in the rebooted franchise would be co-writing the next
film alongside Doug Jung. While promoting Z for Zachariah at the Sundance Film
Festival, Captain Kirk himself, actor Chris Pine was asked about it and if he
was worried that Star Trek 3 would become the adventures of Scotty.
