Last week a rumor surfaced that Nathan Fillion was going
to star as Nova in the after credit scene from director James Gunn, Guardians
of the Galaxy. The director as since debunked the rumor as it being, "greatly
(and entirely) exaggerated", but he now announces that the actor will in
fact appear in the film, but in a small cameo.
Opening on July 31st in the UK, and
on August 1st in the US, Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt,
Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Ophelia Lovibond,
Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace, Djimon Honsou, Gregg Henry, Glenn Close, John C.
Reilly, Peter Serafinowicz, and Laura Haddock.
