Director Andres Muschietti Departs Universal's The Mummy Reboot Over Creative Differences

It has been a hard day for reboots. First Gerard Butler exits the Point Break reboot due to creative differences and scheduling conflict, and now director Andres Muschietti (Mama) departs from universal's reboot of The Mummy, also over creative differences.

The Mummy reboot is still set to open on April 22, 2016 but it may change, now that the studio is once again looking for a director and needs to re-write the script.
