After three years of development,
it seems that Sony Pictures is ready to pull the trigger on the adaptation of
Patrick Jean’s short film Pixels. After securing director Chris Columbus to
helm the project last year, it seems that the studio is looking at Josh Gad and
Kevin James to lead the project as champion arcade gamers that help defeat
alien attacks that are very similar to 80’s arcade games.
