Girls star Adam Driver has recently
been in the center of some rumors regarding some of the most coveted franchises
of years to come. He was first rumored to be in talks to star as Nightwing in Zack
Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman film and now he is apparently in final talks to
star as a villain in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII. The news comes via
Variety that says the actor is in final negotiations to star as a villain if
not the main one in Episode VII and maybe in the entire new trilogy. If so the
actor has beaten such actors as Michael Fassbender or Hugo Weaving to the
villain role.
The sequel to Return of the Jedi
is scheduled to start shooting this April at London’s Pinewood Studios. The
original cast of Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are expected to
appear.
