Pixar’s Monsters University short
film, titled Party Central was originally going to open The Good Dinosaur’s screening, but now it seems that the short as changed
its bigger companion. According to the EW the short will be opening for Muppets
Most Wanted when it hits the screens in March 21st.
In the interview to the EW, writer
and director Kelsey Mann says:
”When you first meet the Oozma
Kappas, they go to their fraternity house and the first thing they say is,
‘Welcome to party central! We haven’t thrown a party yet, but when we do we’ll
be ready,’ I kept telling Dan [Scanlon], ‘I really want to see their party. We
have to do it in the credits or something.’ Then when the idea of doing a short
came up, we were like, ‘That could be the party!’"
Billy Chrystal and John Goodman
will return to voice Mike and Sulley as should the rest of the actors that lend
their voices to the animation.
