The Secret Service comic book series, written by Mark Millar and drawn by artist Dave Gibbon's is getting closer and closer to the big screen, 20th Century Fox just bought the rights to the film and has already set a date for the release, 14 of November 2014. The director for the movie has been choosen already as well, it will be Matthew Vaughn, who brought us movies such as Stardust, Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class. What is already done has well is the script, which was done by Vaughn and Jane Goldman. Miller, the writer of the comic book, described the story as a "... James Bond meets My Fair Lady", it's about a young London rioter who ends up being trained by his uncle to be a gentleman super spy. This stranged combination and the quality of the comic book is most likely the reason why Matthew Vaughn passed the oportunity to continue his work in the X-Men universe with the X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Below there is a preview of the first issue of the comic book series.
