New Line Cinema has released a new
trailer for Andrés
Muschietti's ("Mama") It, the latest adaptation of the Stephen King horror novel of the same name, this time around
with Bill Skarsgård ("Hemlock
Grove") starring as the creepy-looking Pennywise the clown.
Part of a planned two-film franchise, this first
installment will explore a group of teenagers whom must band together to fight Pennywise,
the representation of their deepest fears.
Opening in theaters on September 8, It also stars Wyatt
Oleff, Jack Dylan Grazer, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn
Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
When children begin
to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with
their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise,
whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
